As a Grounds Maintenance Team Member, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the health and beauty of our land. This role includes solid waste management, recycling, firewood distribution, and firepit maintenance, while also assisting with event setup and other property needs. This position is hands-on, outdoors, and may include evenings and weekends. Opportunities for cross-training and growth in other maintenance areas are also available. Both full-time and part-time opportunities exist.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests as needed, providing a welcoming experience.

• Collect and properly dispose of solid waste and recycling throughout the property multiple times daily.

• Clean and maintain solid waste receptacles daily.

• Receive and distribute firewood for firepits, stoves, and fireplaces across the property.

• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of firepits.

• Assist with transportation of firepits and other large items as needed.

• Ensure grounds and outdoor areas remain clean, safe, and presentable.

• Provide general resort information to guests when asked.

• Communicate repair or maintenance needs promptly to supervisors or relevant partners.

• Support with event setup and other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

• Forklift operation experience (certification preferred).

• Previous custodial, outdoor grounds, or pool maintenance experience strongly preferred.

• Keen eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; experience operating large vehicles.

• Knowledge of forklift maintenance, cardboard bailers, compactors, and utility carts (electric and gas).

• Light landscaping experience in a professional setting.

• Self-motivated and dependable; able to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

• Basic plumbing or irrigation knowledge is a plus.

• Physically able to lift 50 lbs unassisted repeatedly throughout the day.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
