Outfitter Program Guide - Part time

Position: Outfitter Program Guide
Reports to: Operations Manager, Program Coordinator
Job Type: Part-Time; Non-Exempt, Hourly

Shifts: Must be able to work weekends(Saturday and Sunday), holidays

Southall Farm and Inn is a premier destination bringing nature, produce and people together in a powerful and unique way. The Part-Time Outfitter Program Guide will serve guests through the facilitation of guest-tailored outdoor programming and transporting guests around Southall property. Programs include Aerial Adventure Course, Guided Hikes, Mountain Biking, Archery, Axe Throwing, Fishing, Canoeing, and more. Southall Staff aim to provide a 5-star level experience in all aspects of their interactions with guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing a safe, welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff.
  • Facilitation of programming and transporting of guests.
  • Facilitation of Southall programming with an emphasis on safety, experiential education, and unique experiences.
  • Inspection and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and locations of programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching or facilitating experiential programming.
  • Previous hospitality and customer service experience
  • A deep appreciation for nature and service

Education and Requirements:

  • CPR/AED & First Aid certification within 30 days of starting date.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs.
  • Available to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays
  • Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods as needed and able to work in all weather conditions
  • This position spends the majority of the day outdoors and moving throughout the property
