Position Description:
The position of Farm Cultivation Team Member at Southall Farm and Inn is both a rewarding and challenging opportunity. We operate just over two and a half acres of intensive market garden vegetables as well as pastured poultry. All the products that we grow on the farm are destined for plates in the restaurant! As a member of the cultivation team, you will be trained and entrusted to execute the daily tasks that are associated with the farm and our orchard. Those tasks include, but are not limited to; weeding, seeding, planting, shoveling, harvesting, washing vegetables, and animal husbandry chores. At Southall Farm, we blend agricultural production, guest facing interaction, and aesthetic beauty to achieve a space where passionate farmers grow healthy food that is highlighted by talented chefs to be enjoyed by wonderful guests under the blue skies of middle Tennessee.
